Obituary

Dodge City - Donald A. Frigon, 61, died September 5, 2014 at his residence in Dodge City after a short illness. He was born on June 21, 1953 at Dodge City, the son of Bernie D. and Betty M. (Fahrbach) Frigon.

He married Ann C. Hastings on July 21, 1979 in Cimarron, Kansas. They were married for thirty years. Don was a licensed attorney. He graduated from Cimarron High School, the University of Kansas, and Washburn Law School.

Don loved the time he spent as a member of Dodge City Roundup, Inc., and volunteering during the rodeo. He also loved to garden, cook and going to the KU Jayhawk basketball games.

Don is survived by his parents, Bernie and Betty Frigon, Scottsdale, Arizona; two brothers, Brad Frigon and his companion Liz O'Brien, Denver, Colorado, and Doug Frigon, Lafayette, California; his former wife, Ann Frigon, Dodge City, and eleven nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by Doug's wife, Jayne Frigon.

Memorial services will be held at Swaim Funeral Home, Dodge City, on Friday, September 19, 2014 at 10:30 A.M. with Mr. Jeff Hiers presiding. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Dodge City. Friends may sign the register book from 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Thursday, September 18, 2014 at Swaim Funeral Home, Dodge City.
