Cimarron – Donald R. "Don" Falke, 74, died June 10, 2023 at St. Catherine's Hospital in Dodge City.  He was born on August 9, 1948 at Garden City, Kansas the son of Nicholas and Kathleen (Hendershot) Falke.

He married Elizabeth Junette Reed on February 23, 1969, she preceded him in death. Don was always up for a trip to Kates for a meal with family. He was a director of Dodge City Roundup for many years and always looked forward to the Rodeo every year.

He was a member of Dodge City Roundup Rodeo.

He is survived by his wife Eva Stockdale of the home; one son Cory Falke and wife Becky of Parsons, Kansas; one daughter April Falke of Midwest City, Oklahoma; one sister Donna Nichols of Garden City, Kansas; one daughter Rhonda Thomas and husband Rick of Raymore, Missouri; one son-in-law Mike Smith of Ashland, Kansas.  Don is also survived by eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents Nicholas and Kathleen Falke, one brother Randy Falke and one daughter Roquelle Smith.

Memorial service will be held at a later date. There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. Memorials are suggested to Dodge City Roundup Rodeo in care of the funeral home.  Thoughts and memories may be shared in the online guest book at www.swaimfuneralhome.com.
