DODGE CITY - Donna Lee (Gobin) Hamilton, 71, died Monday, April 19, 2010 at Western Plains Medical Complex, Dodge City. She was born on September 4, 1938 at Dodge City, the daughter of Gareth P. and Juanita (Nelson) Gobin.

Donna was born and raised in Dodge City and attended Dodge City Schools. She married Billy Dan Hamilton on August 10, 1956. He preceded her in death on October 24, 1996. Donna was a housewife and enjoyed bingo.

She was a member of First Church of God and The Church of God Women's Circle both of Dodge City and AARP.

Donna is survived by two sons, Billy Joe Hamilton of New Mexico and Joseph Dean Hamilton of Colorado; a daughter, Darla Morales of Dodge City; two brothers, Dwayne Gobin of Hutchinson and Larry Gobin of Dodge City, a sister, Wanda Blackburn of Dodge City; four half-brothers, Gary Ray Gobin, Craig Gobin, Perry Gobin, and Allan Gobin all of Oklahoma; two half-sisters, Garilene Castleberry and Judy Powers both of Oklahoma; 10 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Mary Jolene "Jodye" England; infant sons, Billy Hamilton, Jr and Dwayne Jerome Hamilton; brothers, Darrell Mack Gobin and Gary Dean Gobin.

Graveside service will be held at Maple Grove Cemetery, Dodge City, on Thursday, April 22, 2010 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Marvin Dean Nelson and Rev. Dwayne L. Gobin II presiding. Visitation will be at Swaim Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 21, 2010 from Noon to 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Donna Hamilton Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home.
