Dorothy (Reynolds) Allen, 97, of Dodge City, Kansas passed away on April 5, 2023, at Trinity Manor. She was born on March 10, 1926, in Greensburg, Kansas.

Dorothy loved to travel, bowl, and go to the casino and horseraces with her daughter and son-in-law. She worked at Coney Island, Coffee Cup Café, and Hunter's Liquor Store. The job she was most proud of was working at the Courthouse for Judge Camilla Haviland for 15 years. She was a member of Christ the King Lutheran Church, Dodge City, Kansas.

She was preceded in death by her husband Willie Reynolds, husband Virgil Allen, son Larry Don Reynolds, and all of her siblings – four sisters Vera, Vada, Violet, and Doris and three brothers Buck, Earl, and Kenneth.

Dorothy is survived by daughter Glenda Ohlmeier and husband Lee, daughter-in-law Dorotha Reynolds, step-son Jeff Allen and wife Nancy, and sister-in-law Wynona Allen. She is also survived by grandchildren Lori Gilliam, Scott Reynolds and wife Carrie, Stephanie Reynolds, Doug Brauer, Julie Makovec, Todd Brauer and wife Amy, Karen Genereux and husband Steve, Pam Nilhas and husband Jeff, and Joann Ringgold and husband Lloyd; and great-grandchildren Alyssa Humphrey and husband Jay, Aspen Gilliam, Asia Gilliam, Logan Reynolds, Casey Pemberton and husband Brian, Kelly Askew and husband Robert, Emma Brauer, Kaitlyn Genereux, Alecx Genereux, Amber Nilhas, Marissa Ringgold, and Logan Ringgold; and great-great-grandchildren Griffin Humphrey and Aria Humphrey.

There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. Private family inurnment will be held at Maple Grove Cemetery in Dodge City. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
