DODGE CITY - Dorothy Maxine Durr, 77, died April 9, 2011 at Hospice of the Valley, Mesa, Arizona. She was born on November 1, 1933 at Hutchinson the daughter of Howard Ralph and Thelma Marie (Clark) Manges.

Dorothy attended Hutchinson schools and graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1951. She moved to Dodge City in 1971. On August 28, 1975 she married Dale D. Durr at Dodge City. He preceded her in death on February 23, 2010.

She was a member of the Holy Cross Lutheran Church of Dodge City.

Dorothy is survived by two sons, Mike Teders and wife Mary of San Antonio, Texas and Randy Durr of Newton; four daughters, Donna Burger of Mercer Island, Washington, Becky Gray and husband Keith of Henderson, Nevada, Terrie Fitch of St. Joseph, Missouri and Sandi Weber of Minneapolis, Minnesota; two sisters, Wanda Smith of Mesa, Arizona and Frances Ansel of Parma Heights, Ohio; brother, Howard Manges of Florida; 14 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorial service will be held at Holy Cross Lutheran Church on Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Randall Jahnke presiding. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery, Hutchinson on Thursday, April 21, 2011 at 10:00 AM. There will be no public visitation as cremation has taken place.
