DODGE CITY - Eleuterio "Don Lute" Rincon, 73, died March 11, 2011 at Western Plains Medical Complex, Dodge City. He was born on March 3, 1938 at Palau Coahuila, Mexico the son of Bernabe Rincon and Maria del Refugio-Rodriquez.
Mr. Rincon worked for National Beef in Dodge City for 28 years. He loved watching the Kansas City Royals and Kansas City Chiefs. Eleuterio loved bingo and spending time with his grandchildren.
He was a member of the Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe of Dodge City.
He is survived by his wife, Tomasa Rincon of the home; four sons, Raul Rincon and wife Alma of Dodge City, Bernabe Rincon and companion Tabitha Osborn of Dodge City, Richard Rincon and wife Leticia of Mission, and Lorenzo Rincon of Dodge City; four daughters, Elida Garcia of Dodge City, Claudia Garcia and husband Horacio of Dodge City, Graciela Goytia and husband Jose of Dodge City and Raquel Rincon and companion Alberto Turrubiarte of Bassett, Virginia; 21 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Mr. Rincon was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.
Vigil Service will be held at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe on Monday, March 14, 2011 at 7:00 PM. Funeral mass will be held at Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe on Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Ted Skalsky presiding. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Dodge City. Visitation will be at Swaim Funeral Home on Sunday, March 13, 2011 from noon to 6:00 PM and on Monday, March 14, 2011 from noon to 5:00 PM.
