Dodge City - Elizabeth M. Alarcon, 60, passed away with her family by her side on April 29, 2024 at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita. She was born on October 14, 1963 at Villagrán, Guanajuato, Mexico the daughter of Bulmaro Arriaga and Maria Soledad-Santa Rosa.

Elizabeth grew up in Mexico and moved to the United States in 1984. In 1991 she married Raul Alarcon in Dodge City. She enjoyed taking care of her garden and plants; she loved cooking and taking care of her family. Elizabeth was a loving and caring person who always put others first.

She attended the Dodge City Mennonite Church

Elizabeth is survived by her husband, Raul Alarcon of Dodge City; three children, Miguel Alarcon of Wichita, Raul Alarcon of Dodge City, and Susan Torres of Dodge City; five grandchildren, Eliana, Jamie, Yoselin, Ximena, and Kaylani; and four siblings.

Funeral service will be held at Swaim Funeral Chapel on Friday, May 3, 2024 at 10:30 AM with Minister Linford Holdeman presiding.  Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Dodge City.  Visitation will be at Swaim Funeral Chapel on Thursday, May 2, 2024 from Noon to 8:00 PM. Elizabeth creció en México y se mudó a los Estados Unidos en 1984. En 1991 se casó con Raúl Alarcón en Dodge City. Le gustaba cuidar su jardín y sus plantas, cocinar y cuidar de su familia. Elizabeth era una persona cariñosa y afectuosa que siempre anteponía a los demás.

A Elizabeth le sobreviven su esposo, Raúl Alarcón de Dodge City; tres hijos, Miguel Alarcón de Wichita, Raúl Alarcón de Dodge City y Susan Torres de Dodge City; cinco nietos, Eliana, Jamie, Yoselin, Ximena y Kaylani; y cuatro hermanos.

El funeral se llevará a cabo en Swaim Funeral Chapel el viernes 3 de mayo de 2024 a las 10:30 a. m., presidido por el ministro Linford Holdeman. Seguirá el entierro en el cementerio Maple Grove en Dodge City.
