Dodge City - Elizabeth "Betty" Jane Baalman, born Betta Jane Ruder January 25, 1928, in Munjor, Kansas passed away peacefully with family by her side on December 2, 2018 in Dodge City, Kansas at the age of 90 years.

Betty is survived by her two sons, Rick Baalman of Dodge City; and Dennis Baalman of Wichita; a daughter, Susan Baalman of Dodge City; her grandchildren, Violet Craft and husband Justin of Portland, Oregon; Nic Baalman and wife Megan of Wichita; and Mandy Zogleman and husband Matt of Wichita; four great-grandchildren; and her brother, Darrel Ruder of Dodge City. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cliff Baalman; sister, Mildred Sheldon; and her parents, Alex and Adeline Ruder.

Memorial service will be held at 10:30AM, Saturday, December 8, 2018, at Swaim Funeral Chapel, Dodge City with Mr. Jeff Hiers presiding. Betty will be buried next to her husband in Maple Grove Cemetery in Dodge City following the service.  There is no visitation as cremation has taken place.
