Dodge City - Elizabeth Melissa Terrazas, 18, died February 24, 2018 at her home in Dodge City.  She was born on April 27, 1999 in Dodge City.

Elizabeth moved with her family to Liberal and Great Bend before returning to Dodge City.  She was a 2017 graduate of Dodge City High School and a member of the high school cross country team.  Elizabeth was attending Dodge City Community College where she was on the track and cross country teams.  She enjoyed listening to music, being with her friends and family, and spending time with her dog, Roxy. Elizabeth was a free spirit who loved running, poetry, and chocolate.  She will be missed by all those who loved her.

Elizabeth is survived by her parents; a sister, Enid Terrazas; a brother, Joshua Terrazas all of Dodge City; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Vigil Service will be held at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Dodge City on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at 7:00 PM.  Funeral mass will be held at the church on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Aneesh Parappanuttu presiding.  A private family burial will be at a later date.  Visitation will be at Swaim Funeral Chapel, Dodge City on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 from noon to 5:00 PM.  Memorials are suggested to the family in care of the funeral home.  Thoughts and memories may be shared in the online guest book at www.swaimfuneralhome.com.
