EMMA FAY HANNA

CIMARRON - Emma Fay Hanna, 79, died March 7, 2013 at The Shepherd's Center, Cimarron. She was born on December 24, 1933 at Madison Township, Missouri the daughter of Burnis Owen and Dessie (Miller) Shepard.

Emma grew up in Missouri and moved to Cimarron in 1948. On June 3, 1951 she married Vernon Hanna, Jr at Cimarron.

She was a member of the First Christian Church of Cimarron, Christian Women's Fellowship of Cimarron, Gray County Extension Group and the Preston Chapter #149, Order of Eastern Star of Cimarron.

Mrs. Hanna is survived by her husband Vernon Hanna, Jr of Cimarron; a son, Dr. Mike Hanna and wife Jennifer of Leigh, Nebraska; two daughters, Rebecca Daniels and husband Joel and Lynette Owens and husband Brian both of Cimarron; 10 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, and infant son, Vernon Owen Hanna.

Funeral service will be held at the Cimarron First Christian Church on Monday, March 11, 2013 at 2:00 PM with Mr. David Johnson presiding. Burial will follow at Cimarron Cemetery in Cimarron. Visitation will be at the Cimarron First Christian Church on Sunday, March 10, 2013 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Memorials are suggested to the Cimarron First Christian Church or The Shepherds Center both in care of the funeral home.
