Erika Gayle Roths, 31, died Tuesday, May 5, 2009 at her residence at Dodge City. She was born on December 18, 1977 at Dodge City, the second daughter of Terri Kay Rubenich.

She attended schools in Minneola, Dodge City, Derby and graduated at Shawnee Mission in 1996. She met Darrell Roths, Jr. in April of 2000 and they were united in marriage March 24, 2001 in Burlington, Colorado. Erika was an avid softball player, animal lover and an outdoorsman. She was an avid frog collector.

She was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church and an active member of Dodge City Ambucs both of Dodge City.

Survivors include her husband, Darrell Roths, Jr. of Dodge City; a son, Denver Roths of Dodge City; her mother, Terri Rubenich of Dodge City; a sister, Danika Baca and husband Bernard and their children Jude and Bridgette of Anton Chico, New Mexico; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

A memorial service will be held at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Dodge City on Friday, May 8, 2009 at 10:30 AM with Rev. Randall Jahnke presiding.
