Ford - Ernest Wayne Stout, 86, died September 30, 2024 in Somerset, Texas.  He was born on December 8, 1937 in Dodge City, Kansas the son of Clarence H. and Reba (Coleman) Stout.

The family moved to Topeka where Ernest graduated from Topeka High School.  Upon graduation, he enlisted in the United States Air Force. After completing his service, he moved to San Antonio, Texas.  Ernest attended San Antonio College.  He was a long time resident of San Antonio.

He is survived by a son, Alexander Stout of Somerset, Texas.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Stout and Reba Stout-Smith.

Graveside service will be held at Ford Cemetery on Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at 10:30 AM with Pastor Kirk Larson presiding. Military honors will be provided by the SWKS Veterans' Funeral Honor Guard and McConnell Air Force Honor Guard. There is no visitation.
