Dodge City - Ernestine G. Robinson, 68, died October 8, 2021 at Trinity Manor in Dodge City.  She was born on October 20, 1952 in Albuquerque, New Mexico, the daughter of Ernest and Geneva Robinson.

Ernestine worked for Kansas State Grain Inspection for many years. She also worked for USD #443, in the school cafeteria.

Ernestine was a family person. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was also very involved in church activities. Ernestine was a very generous person; giving and caring for others, and always willing to help.

She is survived by her children, Monica Bradshaw and husband Matthew of Jetmore, Chad Nichols and wife Cheyenne of Dodge City, and Rosa Robinson; 15 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; sisters, Audrey Rowe of Georgia and Evelyn Robinson of Alaska; brothers, Timothy Robinson of Wyoming and William Robinson of California. Ernestine was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Geneva Robinson; and sister, Florence Evans.

Funeral service will be held at Swaim Funeral Chapel in Dodge City on Friday, October 15, 2021 at 10:00 AM.  Burial will follow at 2:00 PM at the Hugoton Cemetery in Hugoton.  Visitation will be at Swaim Funeral Chapel in Dodge City on Thursday, October 14, 2021 from noon to 8:00 PM.  The family asks that those attending the services to please wear a mask.
