Garden City - Ernesto G. Rincones , 78 , died May 3, 2023 at the Ranch House, Garden City. He was born on September 8, 1944 in Mart , Texas, the son of Francisco Rincones and Amelia Gonzalez .

Ernesto was the oldest of 13 children. He loved buying, selling, and collecting antiques as well as creating and collecting jewelry. His wardrobe was always of big importance and he maintained a closet full of fine clothing. Watching and participating in sports was always big throughout his lifetime. He was also and avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys. He attended Primera Iglesia Bautista Hispana in Garden City, KS where he raised his family amongst the congregation.

He is survived by his spouse, Lucille Rincones; two children, Joseph Rincones and Michelle Sammon; four grandchildren; siblings, Lollie Niave, Amelia Jeffries, Sammy Rincones, Danny Rincones, Armando Rincones, Frank Rincones, and Ray Rincones; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings, Oscar Rincones, Carlos Rincones, Rosa Ramos, Flora Gomes, and Mary Rincones.

There is no service scheduled at this time. No visitation as cremation will take place.
