Estelle A. Heskamp, 93, entered eternal life on Monday, August 23, 2010. She was born on October 4, 1916 at Ong, Nebraska the daughter of James and Ettie (Adams) Goins.

She married Ray Heskamp on May 17, 1946 in Wichita, Kansas. Ray and Estelle were married for 53 years. He preceded her in death on February 9, 1999. Estelle was very active in civic groups and was an avid bridge player. She was very dedicated to her family and the community of Spearville.

Estelle was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.

She is survived by four daughters, Stephanie Heskamp of Wichita, Kathy Powell of Centennial, Colorado, Mary Lou Kocak of Aurora, Colorado and Martha Kullen of Park City, Utah; a sister, Thelma Holloway of Wichita and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by nine siblings.

Vigil service will be held at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church on Thursday, August 26, 2010 at 7:00 PM. Funeral Mass will be held at the church on Friday August 27, 2010 at 10:30 AM with Rev. Ted Stoecklein presiding. Burial will follow at St. John's Cemetery in Spearville. Visitation will be at Swaim Funeral Home on Thursday, August 26, 2010 from Noon to 5:00 PM. Memorials can be made to St. John's Catholic Church or Williams Syndrome Foundation both in care of the funeral home.
