Eugene W. Cooper

Fort Dodge – Eugene Wallace Cooper, 73, died March 15, 2021 at the Kansas Soldiers Home in Fort Dodge, Kansas.  He was born on July 23, 1947 at Los Angeles, California.

He is survived by his son, David Cooper and wife Angela of Kansas; daughter, Michelle Sawmiller and husband Shane of Ohio; 7 grandchildren; brother, Jerry Cooper of Kansas; and sister JoEllen Cooper of Kansas.

Memorial service will be held at Kansas Veterans' Cemetery in Fort Dodge, Kansas on Friday, March 26, 2021 at 11:00 AM with military honors provided by the Marine Corp Honor Guard and the American Legion District 8 Honor Guard.  There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place.  Thoughts and memories may be shared in the online guest book at www.swaimfuneralhome.com.
