DODGE CITY - Fernando "Gee Gee" Trujillo, 54, died Tuesday, June 8, 2010 at his home in Wichita. He was born on September 19, 1955 at Dodge City the son of Frank and Nellie (Torres) Trujillo.

Gee Gee spent his childhood in Dodge City. He moved to Wichita where he received his GED from the Breakthrough Club. Gee Gee worked at the Breakthrough Club for the last twenty years.

He was a member of St. Patricks Catholic Church of Wichita

Gee Gee is survived by his son, Martin Trujillo and wife Sybol of Dodge City; mother, Nellie Trujillo of Dodge City; brother, Mario Trujillo and wife Theresa of Wichita; five sisters, Jane Martinez and Veronica Chavez and husband Javier both of Wichita, Patricia Trujillo, Eva Ontiberos, and Theresa Trujillo all of Dodge City; and four grandsons. He was preceded in death by his father and granddaughter.

Vigil service will be held at Swaim Funeral Home on Thursday, June 10, 2010 at 7:00 PM and the Funeral Mass will be held at the Cathedral Of Our Lady Of Guadalupe on Friday June 11, 2010 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Ted Skalsky presiding. Burial will follow at Greencrest Cemetery in Dodge City. Visitation will be at Swaim Funeral Home on Thursday, June 10, 2010 from Noon to 7:00 PM.
