Flora (Rincones) Gomez, 58, died Wednesday, October 21, 2009 at Via Christi St. Francis Campus in Wichita, KS. She was born on August 17, 1951 in Colorado City, TX the daughter of Francisco and Amelia (Gonzales) Rincones.

Mrs. Gomez raised her family in Garden City and Dodge City. Flora enjoyed helping others and worked as a volunteer in many areas. She loved music, dancing, bingo, gardening, sports and her passion was collecting frogs.

Survivors include three daughters, Julie Carrasco and husband Javier of Dodge City, Debbie Lopez and husband Augustine Bravo of Dodge City, and Lilly Tamayo and husband Hector of Plainview, Texas; three sons, RayJohn Lara of Dodge City, David Lara and wife Mary of Garden City, and Jose Miguel Gomez of Dodge City; six brothers, Ernesto Rincones of Garden City, Ray Rincones of Garden City, Frank Rincones of Dallas, Texas, Armando Rincones of Pueblo, Colo., Sammy Rincones of Denver, Colo., and Daniel Rincones of Dodge City; four sisters, Rose Ramos of Dodge City, Amelia Jeffery of Rifle, Colo., Lollie Niave of Glenwood Springs, Colo., and Mary Rincones of Garden City; twenty three grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Oscar Rincones and Carlos Rincones; one grandson, Alex Carrasco; and two great grandsons, Jessie Martinez and Isaac Martinez.
