Garden City – Florentina "Nikki" Chacon, 48, died January 14, 2022 at Menorah Medical Center in Overland Park, Kansas.  She was born on May 30, 1973 at Dodge City, Kansas the daughter of Florentina and Connie (Lopez) Chacon.

Ms. Chacon loved going to church and spending time with her church family. She loved watching movies on Net flix and spending time with her family and her step son. She was a huge fan of New Kids on the Block and belonged to the "Block Heads Club". Ms. Chacon worked as a administration assistant for the Salvation Army until she became ill and was unable to work any longer.

She was a member of the Abundant Life Family Church of Dodge City and the Cornerstone Church of Garden City. .

She is survived by her fiancee Ray Gonzalez of Garden City; step son Ramon Gonzalez of Garden City; two sisters Diana Fernandez of Dodge City and Lollie Beltran of Dodge City. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister Vickie Villegas.

Funeral service will be held at Swaim Funeral Chapel on Friday January 21, 2022 at 10:30 AM with Pastor Kirk  Larson presiding. Visitation will be at Swaim Funeral Chapel in Dodge City on Thursday, January 20, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM. There will be no burial as cremation is following the funeral service.
