GENEVA NORINE ODLE
Dodge City - Geneva Norine Odle, 86, died October 19, 2013 at Trinity Manor Nursing Home in Dodge City. She was born on June 5, 1927 in Gray County the daughter of Francis Reuben and Bertha Luella (Whitaker) Odle.
Geneva graduated from Cimarron High School in 1945. She graduated from the School of Radiology in Wichita. She then moved to Pasadena, California where she worked as an x-ray technician. After retiring Geneva moved back to Cimarron in 1988. Miss Odle enjoyed gardening, especially raising orchids and roses.
Geneva is survived by four nieces, Patty Woods and husband David, Lisa Toothaker and husband Joey, all of Cimarron, Cheryl Hurde and husband Lorenzo of Dodge City, Keri Crosley and husband Curtis of Enid, Oklahoma; nephews, Rick Odle and John Odle both of Cimarron.
She is also survived by several great nieces and nephews along with several great great nieces & nephews. Miss Odle was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Elvin Odle.
Graveside memorial service will be held at Cimarron Cemetery in Cimarron on Thursday, October 24, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Richard Deimund presiding. There will be no public visitation as cremation has taken place. Memorials are suggested to Trinity Manor Nursing Home in care of the funeral home.
