Dodge City - George E. Flinn, 71, died April 29, 2014 at Western Plains Medical Complex, Dodge City. He was born on June 9, 1942 at Dodge City, the son of Arthur R. and Helen Marie (White) Flinn.

A lifetime resident of Dodge City. George was a graduate of Dodge City High School. Mr. Flinn worked for Behee Upholstery for many years specializing in Automotive upholstery. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved to hunt and fish.

George is survived by his sister, Carolyn Thomas and husband Chuck of Dodge City; a brother, Alfred Flinn and wife Annette of La Junta, Colorado; two nieces, Michelle Butterfield and Melissa Cook both of Wichita; two nephews, Allen Flinn of Wichita and Brian Flinn of Pueblo, Colorado; and several great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by parents.

Graveside Memorial Service will be held at the Scroggins Mausoleum on Monday, May 5, 2014 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Jack Hanks, Jr presiding. There will be no public visitation as cremation has taken place. Memorials are suggested to Hospice of the Prairie in care of the funeral home.
