FOWLER - Gerry Sullivan, 85, died January 11, 2013 at the Fowler Nursing Home, Fowler. She was born on June 7, 1927 at Lamont, Kansas the daughter of Frank Webb and Fannie Eve (Burnett) Overley.

Gerry attended school in both Hamilton and Lamont. On July 16, 1943 she married Gale Sullivan. He preceded her in death on September 8, 2006. They moved to Dodge City in 1950 where Gerry had resided prior moving to Fowler in 2009. She was a clerk at Gambel's and JC Penny's department stores. Gerry was activly involved in the First Baptist Church. She and her husband enjoyed traveling.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Dodge City and the Dodge City Assembly #12 Social Order of Beauceant.

Gerry is survived by a son, Frank Sullivan and wife Cheryl of Olathe; two daughters, Sandy Stauth and husband Randy of Scottsdale, Arizona and Shona Lane and husband Tom of Dodge City; six grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild, and nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Frank Wade Overley; and sister, Gladys Lucille Baysinger.

Graveside service will be held at the Kansas Veterans' Cemetery on Friday, January 18, 2013 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Dick Robbins presiding. Friends may sign the guest book at Swaim Funeral Home on Thursday, January 17, 2013 from noon to 8:00 PM with the family receiving friends from 5:00 to 6:00 PM.
