GLENDA C. LANCASTER
Glenda Christine Lancaster, 61, died Monday, March 16, 2009 at her home in Dodge City, KS. She was born on September 18, 1947 at Dodge City, the daughter of Maxson Berns and Winifred (Snook) Greene.
Mrs. Lancaster was a lifetime Dodge City resident. She did volunteer work for the American Legion Post 47, Dodge City, and was employed with the Dodge City Center for Independent Living.
She was a member of First Christian Church and the American Legion Auxillary, both of Dodge City.
Survivors include one son, John B. Lancaster of Lawrence, Kan; and one sister Sharon Baker of Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorial services will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, March 20, at Swaim Funeral Home, Dodge City, with Mr. Phil Scott presiding. There will be no public visitation, as cremation has taken place.
