Dodge City – Glenda J. Sebes, 73, died October 31, 2021 at Hodgeman County Health Center in Jetmore. She was born on June 12, 1948 at Kirksville, Missouri the daughter of William and Jewell Moots.

Glenda worked a multitude of jobs, including Western Power, a switchboard operator at Southwestern Bell Telephone Company, Shelly's Dress Shop, a mentor at Youthville of Dodge City, U.S.D. #443, American Family Insurance where she obtained her Insurance License, Baking and Cake decorating for those that asked, Pizza Hut, Fashion Bug and Bank of the Southwest. She also returned to school to get her teaching degree, although her favorite job was being a mom. Glenda's family ask that you please not wear black to her service, instead they ask that you wear something bright or floral as Glenda loved color, or gray in support of those who have lost their battle or are still battling brain cancer.

She was a member of the Abundant Life Family Church in Dodge City.

She is survived by her mother Jewell Moots of Dodge City; two daughters Crystle Logan and husband Charles of Dodge City; Carrie Nuss and husband Brian of Jetmore; StepSon Michael Mounts and wife Wendy Johnson-Mounts of Tulsa, Oklahoma; sister Carrie Brock of Wichita; nieces Jennifer Wiens and husband Troy (Children; Hailey and Sean) of Wichita; Heather Phinney and husband Mike of Derby. She is also survived by her grandchildren Michelle Nuss and husband Kyle Phetteplace, Breanna Nuss, Nicole Nuss and one great grandchild Greyson.

She was preceded in death by her father William Moots, aunt Jeanie Moots, brother-in-law Richard Brock. And many other beloved family members.

Memorial service will be held at Abundant Life Family Church on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at 10:00 AM with Dr. Jim Ames and pastor Lydia Ames presiding. There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. Memorials are suggested to Glenda J.
