DODGE CITY - Glenn Walter Burnett, age 90, passed away June 16th at Bethany Home in Lindsborg. Glenn was born October 7th, 1923 in Dodge City, to Winnie Olen and Wynnetta (Powell) Burnett.

Glenn was a businessman and landlord, owning and operating Burnett Trailer Sales among many other endeavors. He served with the Navy Air Corp as a fighter pilot during World War II. He was an avid golfer, enjoying play at the Dodge City Country Club and in the Scottsdale, Arizona area. Glenn was a hardworking man, giving of his time and talents to his daughter's homes and grand children's treehouses. He and Mary enjoyed remodeling homes, even laying the wood floors in their last condo while in his 80's

Glenn was proceeded in death by his wife , Mary, on May 4th, 2014. June 19th would have been their 67th wedding anniversary.

Glenn is survived by his three daughters, Lynn Owen and husband Sam of Nairobi Kenya, Dana Keck of Salina, and Jan McKinnon and husband David of Jones, Oklahoma; Grandchildren, Kari Keck of Salina, Shephard Owen and wife Maria of Nairobi, Kenya, Amy Owen of Geneva, Switzerland, Casey Keck and wife Jessica of Belton, Missouri, Glenn Justin Abbott and wife Chelsea of Oklahoma City, Andrew Owen and wife Ciara of Grant's Pass, Oregon, Dane Abbott and wife Lisa of Oklahoma City; three great grandsons, and a brother, Roger Burnett and wife Carroll of Dodge City.

A memorial service for both Glenn and Mary will be held at 3:00 PM, Saturday, July 26, 2014 in Dodge City at the First United Methodist Church.
