Monkey Island, Oklahoma- Goldabelle Gregg, 82, died November 21, 2013 at Grove Nursing Center, Grove, Oklahoma . She was born on September 2, 1931 at Arkansas City, Kansas the daughter of Carl E. and Eva M. (Douglass) Noland. She grew up in Dodge City and graduated from Dodge City Senior High School in 1949. Goldabelle lived in Wichita from 1950 thru 1961 and graduated from Wichita State University with a masters degree in music.

On December 26, 1950 she married Gene Gregg. In 1961 they moved to Monkey Island, Oklahoma where she was a co-owner of Terra Miranda Resort.

She was a former member of the Congregational Church of Wichita.

Goldabelle is survived by her husband Gene Gregg, Monkey Island , Oklahoma; a son, Shane E. Gregg and wife Keri, Monkey Island, Oklahoma; two granddaughters, Baylee Rene Gregg and Emalee Lynn Gregg; 15 nieces and nephews, numerous great nieces and nephews and one great great nephew. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Betty Jean Noland Nall and a brother, James Wesley Noland.

Funeral service will be held at Swaim Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at 10:30 A.M. with Rev. Mike Keating presiding. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Dodge City. Visitation will be at Swaim Funeral Home, Dodge City on Tuesday, November 26, 2013 from Noon to 8:00 P.M..
