Dodge City - Grace Susan Carmona, 72, died April 1, 2019 at Dodge City.  She was born on January 20, 1947 at Dodge City, Kansas the daughter of Cruz and Jennie (Sanchez) Soza.

Mrs. Carmona loved listening to Motown music and attending dances in her younger years. She also loved spending time with her grandchildren and the children in her neighborhood.

She was a member of the Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe of Dodge City.

She is survived by her husband Albert Carmona of Dodge City; one son Brent Carmona and wife Karen of Dodge City; four sisters Connie Soza of Dodge City; Flora Leon of Derby, Kansas; Betty Martinez of Dodge City; Sandra Griffin; four brothers Robert Soza of Dodge City; Joe Soza of Lawrence, Kansas; Paul Soza of Winchester, California and Jesse Ramos of Dodge City. She is also survived by two grandchildren Addison and Jacob Carmona.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers Mike Soza , Victor Soza, three sisters Emily Seacat, Trudy Trent and Dorothy Guillen.

Memorial service will be held at Swaim Funeral Chapel on Monday April  8, 2019 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Wesley Schawe presiding. Inurnment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Dodge City. There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. Memorials are suggested to Addison and Jacob Carmona Education Fund in care of the funeral home.
