Obituary

Cimarron - Grace Ann Robertson born and raised in Cimarron, Kansas. Born January 14, 1943. Passed away January 12, 2026 at her home.

She graduated from Cimarron High School in 1961 and later Dodge City Community College. She was a caring and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great- grandmother. She worked on the farm south of Cimarron growing up and continued that when she married the love of her life, Leo Dale Robertson on January 27, 1963. Together they raised three beautiful children, Troy, Nolan, and Lisa. When they sold the farm they all went to Cimarron and started jobs. Grace worked at Cimarron Insurance Company in the mail room for many years. Later, when she had grandkids in elementary school, she became a para at the school and helped with her grandkids every day after school. Her hobbies included crossword puzzles, traveling, computer games, and sewing. She made lots of blankets and burp cloths and photo albums and t-shirts for her great- grandchildren. They were her pride and joy.

She is survived by her husband, Leo D. Robertson of Cimarron; her three children, Troy (Janell) Robertson of Dodge City, Nolan (Debra) Robertson of Mustang, OK, and Lisa (Brad) Chalkley of Cimarron; her grandchildren, Rachel (Justin) Fansler, Shelby Robertson, Tamara Robertson, Gage (Morgan) Robertson, Ryan Robertson, Mitch (Jessica) Chalkley, and Madison (Dalan) Hallmark; and great-grandchildren, Parker and Landry Chalkley, Ree and Jace Fansler, Rory Hallmark, Chris and Chase Robertson. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willard and Arvilla (Courbet) Nolan; and a brother, Terry Nolan.

Funeral service will be held at Cimarron Methodist Church on Monday, January 19, 2026 at 2:00 PM with Mr. Jeff Hiers presiding. Burial will follow at the Cimarron Cemetery in Cimarron.
