HAROLD LEROY BRADLEY
Dodge City - Harold Leroy Bradley, 89, died May 7, 2012 at Western Plains Medical Complex, Dodge City. He was born on February 19, 1923 at Mason City, Iowa, the son of Elmer and Alice ( Gillette) Bradley.
He was a graduate of Minneola High School in 1940. He served in the Merchant Marines during WWII. He married Lena Marie Beggs on July 9, 1950 in Dodge City. Formerly of Wilroads Gardens, they have resided in Dodge City since 1950 . He was a farmer, and worked for Orkin Pest Control. He was owner of Bradley Rentals, and Bradley Pest Control.
He was a member of the First Missionary Church, Dodge City.
Survivors include his wife Lena M. Bradley , Dodge City, three sons, Leslie H. Bradley, Dodge City, Craig Bradley, Knoxville, Tennessee, and Mark E. Bradley, Wichita, one sister Mary Alice Burnett, Dodge City, four grandchildren, Christin York, Janae, Keith and Allison Bradley, and two great grandchildren, Emma Bradley and Josiah York.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Gloria M. Weiss, and Clara J. Thomas.
Memorial service will be held at Swaim Funeral Home, Dodge City, on Saturday, May 26, 2012 at 10:30 A.M. with Reverends Jeff Turner and James Hossler presiding. There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place.. Memorials are suggested to the First Missionary Church, Dodge City, in care of the funeral home.
