HAROLD M. HARPER
Dodge City - Harold M. Harper, 65, died April 30, 2012 at his home in Dodge City. He was born on September 25, 1946 at Hardtner, the son of Emery and Betty May (Lytle) Harper.
A resident of Dodge City since 1988, formerly of Hutchinson, he was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving during the Vietnam war. Mr. Harper worked for several auto body companies in Dodge City as a technician, and was later employed with Curtis Machine Company.
Survivors include one son Chad and wife Raven Harper, Lawrence, one daughter, Breann Harper, Seattle, Washington, and one brother, Howard Harper, Dodge City. He was preceded in death by his parents Emery and Betty May (Lytle) Harper.
Memorial graveside services will be held at Kansas Veterans Cemetery, Fort Dodge, on Friday, May 4, 2012 at 11:30 A.M. with Rev. David Graves presiding. Inurnment will follow with military rites provided by Howard Gotschall Post # 1714, V.F.W. There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place.
