Elkhart - Helen Cameron, 93, died May 27, 2020 at Morton County Senior Living Community in Elkhart.  She was born on March 3, 1927 in Kiowa, the daughter of O.M. and Mae Fern (Pike) Barr.

Helen spent her early childhood in Kiowa.  She later moved with her family to Enid, Oklahoma.  Helen graduated from Enid High School.  On July 23, 1945, Helen was united in marriage to Forrest L. "Joe" Cameron in Alva, Oklahoma.  He preceded her in death.  After their marriage, the couple moved several times for settling in Elkhart in 1963.  They owned and operated Cameron Impliment, where Helen served as the parts sales representative and the company bookkeeper.  She enjoyed quilting and sewing, often sewing for members of the community.

Helen is survived by her children, Candise Cameron of Elkhart and Brian Cameron of Las Vegas, Nevada; three grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters, and one brother.

A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.  There is no visitation as cremation has taken place.  Swaim Funeral Chapel, Sublette assisted the family with arrangements.  Thoughts and memories may be shared in the online guest book at www.swaimfuneralhome.com.
