Dodge City - Isabel Kelly, 83, died May 12, 2017 at Trinity Manor Nursing Home in Dodge City. She was born on September 27, 1933 at the Mexican Village in Dodge City, the daughter of  Jose V. and Sara Jaso Torrez.

She loved gardening, dancing, and listening to music. Mrs. Kelly was a very caring and compassionate person with a heart of gold and was always willing to help someone who was in need

She is survived by six sisters Dolores Torrez, Teresa (Carol) Torrez, Teresa Mendez, Josphione Torrez Moreno, Elenor Torrez Lacer, Martarita Montes.  She is also survived by one son Charles Briseno and wife Lucy; four daughters Melinda Romesburg and husband Rex; Mona Torrez; April Sanchez and husband Rigoberto and Dorthy Nichols and husband Landon; and 15grandchildren, 28 Great Grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and five brothers and three sisters.

A sharing of memories will be held at Swaim Funeral Home on Friday May 19, 2017 at 12:00 PM . Inurnment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Dodge City.  There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. Memorials are suggested to Isabel Kelly Memorial Fund  in care of the funeral home.
