Copeland - Jacob Dyck Wolfe, 53, died June 5, 2023 at his home in Copeland.  He was born on June 25, 1969 at  Cuauhtemoc, Mexico, the son of Bernhard Krahn and Helena Peters (Dyck) Wolfe.

When Jacob was four, he moved with his family to La Honda, Mexico.  He completed his education there.  On July 17, 1988, Jacob was united in marriage to Sara Friessen Froese. In 1998, Jacob moved his family to the United States.  They made their home in Montezuma and he worked for Max Jantz Excavating as a heavy equipment mechanic. The family later moved to Sublette and finally to Copeland.  Jacob had just recently opened his own mechanic shop.

Jacob enjoyed taking his family on vacations to different destinations.  Some were simple trips around his work sites and others were adventures to more distant places, with the Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium in Omaha being a family favorite.  He enjoyed taking his children and grandchildren for ice cream treats.  Time with family, especially the grandchildren, was a favorite past time.

Jacob is survived by his wife, Sara of Copeland; seven children, Helena Wolfe of Copeland, Maria Hildebrandt and husband Jacob of Lakin, Ben Wolfe and wife, Jessica of Garden City, Jake Wolfe and wife Eva of Dalhart, Texas, Agatha Dyck and husband David of Liberal, William Wolfe and wife Christy of Montezuma, Corny Wolfe and wife Elena of Ulysses; 14 siblings, Gertruda and Peter Bueckert, Katharina and Bernhart Penner, Johan and Susanna Wolfe, Franz and Tina Wolfe, Cornelius and Maria Wolfe, Elisabeth and Johan Klassen, Bernhard and Justina Wolfe, Peter and Katharina Wolfe, Daniel and Maria Wolfe, Abram and Anna Wolfe, Helena and Henry Friesen, Susanna and Henry Peters, Margaretha and Wilhelm Friesen, and Herman and Judith Wolfe; and eight grandchildren, Daniel, Adam, and Aaron Hildebrandt, Rebecca, Amanda, and Ethan Wolfe, and Garrett and Kimbree Dyck.  He is preceded in death by his parents; two daughters, Sara and Anna Wolfe; and a brother, David Wolfe.

Funeral service will be held at Living Gospel Church, Sublette on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at 2:00 PM with Gerhard Penner presiding.  Private family burial will follow at Haskell County Cemetery, Sublette.  Visitation will be at Swaim Funeral Chapel, Sublette on Friday, June  9, 2023 from noon to 6:00 PM.  Memorials are suggested to the family in care of the funeral home.  Thoughts and memories may be shared in the online guest book at www.swaimfuneralhome.com .

Jacob war 4 Jahre alt als er mit seiner Familie nach La Honda, Zacatecas  zog. Hier erhielt er seine Schulbildung. Am 17 Juli, 1988 heiratete Jacob Sara Friessen Froese. In 1998, zog Jacob  mit seiner Familie nach den Vereinigten Staaten. Hier machten sie sich ein Heim in Montezuma und arbeitete für Max Jantz Excavating als Maschinenmechaniker. Später zogen sie nach Sublette und nachdem nach Copeland. Jacob hatte eben seine eigene Mechanikerwerkstatt eröffnet.

Jacob genoss es mit seiner Familie verschiedene Vergnügungsreisen zu machen. Einige Reisen waren in der Naehe wo er arbeitete und andere weiter ab, sowie, Henry Doorly Zoo und Aquarium in Omaha waren seine Familie ihre Lieblingsplätze.  Er genoss es mit seinen Kinder und  Enkelkinder herauszufahren für einen Ice Cream.

Er liebte es mit seiner Familie und besonders mit seinen Enkelkinder Zeit zu verbringen. Überlebt haben ihm seine Frau, Sara von Copeland, Sieben Kinder, Helena Wolfe von Copeland, Maria Hildebrandt und Mann Jacob von Lakin, Ben Wolfe und Frau Jessica von Garden City, Jake Wolfe und Frau Eva von Dalhart Texas, Agatha Dyck und Mann David von Liberal, William Wolfe und Frau Christy von Montezuma, Corny Wolfe und Frau Elena von Ulysses. 14 Geschwister: Gertuda und Peter Bueckert, Katharina und Bernhard Penner, Johann und Susanna Wolfe, Franz und Tina Wolfe, Cornelius und Maria Wolfe, Elisabeth und Johann Klassen, Bernhard und Justina Wolfe, Peter und Katharina Wolfe, Daniel und Maria Wolfe, Abram und Anna Wolfe, Helena und Henry Friesen, Susanna und Henry Peters, Margaretha und Wilhelm Friesen, and Herman und Judith Wolfe. 8 Enkelkinder: Daniel, Adam und Aaron Hildebrandt, Rebecca, Amanda und Ethan Wolfe, und Garrett und Kimbree Dyck.

Im Tode vorangegangen sind seine Eltern, zwei Töchter, Sara und Anna Wolfe, und ein Bruder David Wolfe.

Begräbnisfeier ist der 10 Juni 2023 um 2:00 Uhr  in der Living Gospel Church, Sublette geleitet von Prediger Gerhard Penner.

Eine private Familien Beerdigung folgt bei Haskell County Cemetery, Sublette.
