Obituary
James F. Laudick, 85, died Friday, April 9, 2010 at Western Plains Medical Complex at Dodge City, KS. He was born on November 30, 1924 at Spearville, KS the son of Fred and Josephine (Wischmeyer) Laudick.
Mr. Laudick was born and raised in Spearville, and graduated from Spearville High School in 1944. He worked for the Farmers Coop for 21 years before going to work for Heskamp Chevrolet for 19 years. He also worked just briefly for Beech Aircraft. Mr. Laudick is a member of St. John The Baptist Catholic Church and also the Knights of Columbus Council #1539 all of Spearville.
Survivors include several cousins and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters Louise Stringfield and Eleanor Laudick.
Vigil Service will be at 7:00 PM Monday, April 12, 2010 at St. John The Baptist Catholic Church. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM until 4:00 PM Monday, April 12, 2010 at Swaim Funeral Home.
Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 AM Tuesday, April 13, 2010 at St. John The Baptist Catholic Church with Rev. Ted Stoecklein presiding. Burial will follow at St. John's Cemetery in Spearville. Memorials can be made to St. John's Catholic Church in care of the funeral home.
