Obituary
Dodge City - Janiece E. Hedrick, 81, died December 7, 2014 at Trinity Manor Nursing Home in Dodge City. She was born on January 17, 1933 at Grand Island , Nebraska the daughter of George and Eva (Roush) Calvin.
She married Robert "Bob" Hedrick on February 17, 1957 in Dodge City, he preceded her on October 2, 1992. She worked at the social security office for 23 years before retiring in 1988. Mrs. Hedrick loved all animals and always had many dogs and cats throughout her life. She also loved to play bridge.
She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Dodge City.
She is survived by a son Roger Hedrick of Dodge City.
She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.
Funeral service will be held at Swaim Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at 10:00 AM with Barney Korbelik C.R.E presiding. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Dodge City. Visitation will be at Swaim Funeral Home on Monday, December 15, 2014 from 12:00 to 6:00 PM. Memorials are suggested to Ford County Humane Society or Donor's Choice in care of the funeral home.
