WICHITA - Jared Lee Allen Spence, 18, died August 22, 2011 at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita. He was born on April 13, 1993 at Wichita the son of Bruce and Stasha (Reynolds) Spence.

He grew up in Wichita and attended Wichita Heights High School. Jared was currently working for Dane Davis flooring installation of Wichita. He was a gentle person who enjoyed fishing, racing. and four wheelers. Jared was a best friend to his brother Jacob and loved being with his uncle Tim.

He is survived by his parents, Bruce Spence and Stasha Spence both of Wichita; a sister, Karissa Spence-Davis of Wichita; three brothers, Steven Spence, Joshua Spence and Jacob Spence all of Wichita; grandmother, Shirley Green of Wichita and grandmother, Barbara Maris of Dodge City; four uncles and three aunts. He was preceded in death by his uncle, Robert Reynolds, Jr.

Funeral service will be held at Swaim Funeral Home, Dodge City on Saturday, August 27, 2011 at 10:30 AM. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Dodge City. Visitation will be at Swaim Funeral Home on Friday, August 26, 2011 from noon to 8:00 PM. Memorials are suggested to the Jared Spence Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home.
