Dodge City - Jasmin Mendez- Rangel, 28, died July 10, 2022 at her home in Dodge City. She was born on December 22, 1993 at Glenwood Springs, Colorado the daughter of Cristobal Cortez and Antonia Mendez.

She enjoyed listening to music and Drawing in her spare time. Jasmin loved playing soccer with her brother Julian whenever she had the chance. She was a very free spirited young lady.

She was a member of the Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe.

She is survived by her mother Antonio Mendez and her father Cristobal Cortez; one sister Cecilia Martinez, as well as four brothers Cesar Cervattez Mendez, Lucio Angel Rangel Mendez, Cristobal Cortez- Mendez, Julian Cortez- Mendez. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and nieces and nephews.

Funeral Mass will be held at Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe on Saturday July 16, 2022 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Wesley Schawe presiding. There will be no burial as cremation is to follow the mass. Visitation will be at Swaim Funeral Chapel on Friday, July 15, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 P.M. Vigil will be held on Friday, July 15, 2022 at 7:00 PM at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church.
