Jeanne G. (Staskey) Marsh, 88, died Saturday, January 24, 2009 at Trinity Manor Nursing Home in Dodge City. She was born on March 21, 1920 in Bradley, Ohio, the daughter of Stanley and Mary (Rudnieski) Staskey.

Jeanne moved with her family to Bellaire, Ohio where she attended school. On April 19, 1941, she married Munsey Marsh at St. John's Catholic Church in Bellaire, Ohio. He preceded her in death. They moved to Benwood, West Virginia where they raised their family. Mrs. Marsh worked at First National Bank in Moundsville, West Virginia. After retiring in 1983, she moved to Dodge City to be near her daughter. Jeanne enjoyed sewing and reading.

She was a member of St. Johns Catholic Church, Benwood, West Virginia and attended the Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Dodge City.

Mrs. Marsh is survived by her daughter, Linda Barney and husband Bob of Greensburg and one sister, Victoria Gogates of Dearborn, Michigan. She was preceded in death by her husband; five brothers, Zyg, John, Tony, Frank, and Joe; and one sister, Sophie Yurik.

Funeral service will be held at Swaim Funeral Home, Dodge City on Tuesday, January 27, 2009 at 10:30 AM with Rev. Ted Skalsky presiding. Visitation will be at Swaim Funeral Home, Dodge City on Monday, January 26, 2009 from noon to 8:00 PM. Burial will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Wheeling, West Virginia.
