Sublette - Jeannie K. Orth, 84, died January 27, 2024 at Integris Baptist Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma .  She was born on June 10, 1939 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, the daughter of JR and Cleo (Bowen) Cummings.

Jeannie graduated from Tulsa Central High School in 1957.  She attended Oklahoma University before graduating from Floral Institute of Technology and later the Charles Barnes Real Estate School. Jeannie married Robert Orth on November 15, 1962, and they moved to Sublette, where Jeannie owned and operated the Blossom Boutique. In 2001, Jeannie moved to Canadian, Oklahoma. She was a real estate associate with United Country Pro Lake in Eufaula, Oklahoma.

She was a member of Eastern Star, VFW auxiliary, Zone Chairman for Epsilon Sigma Alpha sorority, and helped to start the Jaycee Jaynes in Sublette. Jeannie was also a member of the Sublette Southern Baptist Church.

Jeannie is survived by her children, Michelle Juel and Richard Orth both of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Jared Juel of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Remington Orth and wife Shannon of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Rhett Orth, currently serving in the United States Navy and stationed in Seattle, Washington, Ray Jess Orth of Sublette, Megan Baseley and husband Sam of White City; great grandchildren, Alex Juel and Ryan Juel, both of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Koltin Baseley and Rylee Baseley, both of White City, and Naomi Orth of Sublette.  She is preceded in death by her parents.

Graveside service will be held at Haskell County Cemetery, Sublette on Saturday, February 3, 2024, at 11:00 AM with Pastor David Erwin presiding.  Visitation will be at Swaim Funeral Chapel, Sublette on Friday, February  2, 2024, from 2:00 to 8:00 PM.  Memorials are suggested to the donor's choice  in care of the funeral home.  Thoughts and memories may be shared in the online guest book at www.swaimfuneralhome.com.
