FORT DODGE - Jeffrey E. Thomas, 60, died July 5, 2016 at Halsey Hall in Fort Dodge. He was born on August 3, 1955 in Plainville, the son of Gail E. and Marilyn (Monical) Thomas.

Jeff spent most of his life in the Dodge City area, graduating from Dodge City High School.

He is survived by a brother, Terry Thomas and wife Mary of Kansas City, Missouri; a nephew Garrett Thomas and a niece, Kayley Thomas both of Kansas City, Missouri. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral service will be held at Swaim Funeral Home in Dodge City on Friday July 8, 2016 at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Dodge City. Visitation will be at Swaim Funeral Home on Thursday, July 7, 2016 from Noon to 8:00 PM. The family will receive friends from 9:00 AM to service time on Friday, July 8, 2016 at the funeral home.
