Dodge City - Jeffrey Scott Wright, 60, died May 9, 2021 at Trinity Manor Nursing Home in Dodge City.  He was born on June 4, 1960 at Wichita, Kansas the son of Jimmy and Jackie (Speer) Wright.

He lived most of his life in Dodge City, and was a proud member of the 1978 Red Demons graduating class.  He was a talented HVAC technician and served the residents of SW Kansas. He loved his family, sports, the Kansas City Royals, the Kansas City Chiefs and carried on the family legacy of the total dedication to Sooner football. He was well known as a kind person who loved to laugh. He will be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his father Jimmy Wright, his sister Julie Wright and two nephews, Jon and James Graf.

He was preceded in death by his mother Jackie Wright.

Memorial graveside service will be held at Silent Land Cemetery on Saturday May 29, 2021 at 10:00 AM with Mr. Jeff  Hiers presiding. There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place.
