Dodge City - Jenny D. Ramos, 99, died November 28, 2014 at Good Samaritan Center in Dodge City . She was born on October 10, 1915 at Brownsville, Texas the daughter of Sarasio and Olivia Sanchez.

She grew up in Texas and married Cruz Soza, they later divorced. She married Jesse R. Ramos on June 8, 1955 at Colorado Springs, Colorado, he preceded her in death on May 3, 1975.

She was a member of the Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe.

Survivors include three sons Joe Soza and wife Cheryl of Lawrence, Kansas; Paul Soza and wife Margaret of Winchester, California; Robert Soza and wife Barbara of Wichita, Kansas, five daughters Betty Martinez, Emily Seacat, Connie Soza, Grace Carmona and husband Albert all of Dodge City and Flora Leon of Derby, Kansas. She is also survived by step son Jesse Ramos Jr. and wife Pam of Dodge City and step daughter Sandra Griffin of Mulvane,two sisters Mary Ontiberos and Rozella Rodriquez both of Dodge City as well as 39 grandchildren and 71 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons Victor, Mike Soza and a daughter Trudie Trent and a step daughter Dorothy Guillen as well as two brothers and one sister.

Memorial service will be held at Swaim Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Terrance Klein presiding. Inurnment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Dodge City. There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. Memorials are suggested to Jenny Ramos Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home.
