Dodge City - Jere Rosson, 87, died June 7, 2024 at Manor of the Plains in Dodge City. He was born on March 16, 1937 at Tulsa, Oklahoma the son of James and Ruth (Townsend) Rosson.

Jere enjoyed spool knitting, working on word search puzzles and playing Bingo in his spare time. He was very talented spool knitter, making several gifts for his family and friends over the years. Jere loved anything John Deere and had a love for cars as well. His favorite saying was calling all of his friends and family his people.

He is survived by his sister Janet Schuler of Dodge City; two brothers Jay Rosson of Ft. Collins, Colorado; Jim Rosson of Ft Collins, Colorado and one niece and one nephew. Jere is also survived by several great nieces and nephews and several great great nieces and nephews and his special friend Monica.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, August 10, 2024 at Abundant Life Family Church in Dodge City. Inurnment will be held at a later date at the Claremore Cemetery in Claremore, Oklahoma. Memorials are suggested to Arrowhead West in care of the funeral home.
