JEREMIAH ALAN LEE
Dodge City - Jeremiah "Miah" Alan Lee, 22, of Dodge City, passed away Monday, September 9, 2013, after a fatal car accident.
Miah graduated from Dodge City High School in 2009, where he loved playing football and was a state medal winner in wrestling. He went on to attend the Manhattan Area Technical College to become a lineman. He was pursuing his career as a lineman, working for J & J Powerline. Miah was a very loving person that always had a smile on his face. He had a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and being around family and friends.
Miah is survived by his loving parents Leon and Brenda Lee, Dodge City, sister Meghan Lee, Manhattan, sister and brother-in-law Chantell and Brian Debenham, Abilene, his nieces Brooklyn, Zoey and Maci, brother and sister-in-law Jeremy and Kari Lee, Kansas City, Kansas, grandmother, Geraldine Lee, Fort Dodge, and girlfriend Mariah Koehler, Dodge City. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Barnie Lee and great grandparents, Bruce and Edith Ferguson.
Miah's wonderful life will be celebrated at 10:30 A.M. Thursday, September 12, 2013, at Christ the King Lutheran Church, Dodge City, with Pastor Kent Groethe presiding. Inurnment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, Dodge City. Memorial donations may be made to the Dodge City High School Wrestling program in order to establish the " Jeremiah Lee Top-Notch Character Award " in care of Swaim Funeral Home, Dodge City.
