Dodge City - Jeremy Nathaniel Neal, 25, died November 17, 2017 in Dodge City. He was born on January 7, 1992 at Portsmouth, Ohio.
He Graduated from Wheelersburg high school in Wheelersburg, Ohio. Jeremy also got his EMT certification and was a reserve for Ford County Fire and EMS. He worked for National Beef as a Red Hat in the Cooler Department. He was also a member of the NRA.
Jeremy had a big personality and an even bigger heart. He was fun, loving and caring. You could often find him riding his Harley, which was his first real love. Jeremy loved taking motorcycle trips, and he also enjoyed hunting. He could make anyone laugh, even at their worst. He was always a shoulder to cry on for anyone. He will be greatly missed.
Jeremy is survived by his mother Jennifer Thompson; father and step mother Donald and Amy Neal; sister Katie Neal; step sister Sonja Thompson; step brother Christopher Thompson; grandparents Don and Rowena Neal; grandmother Virginia Blackburn; and his best friend and brother David Avritt. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Wayne Blackburn; grandmother Linda Neal; and great grandparents Emmitt and Ruth Neal.
Funeral service will be held at Swaim Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Dick Robbins presiding. Burial will be at a later date. There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. Memorials are suggested to Ford County Suicide Prevention Coalition in care of the funeral home.
