Dodge City - Jesse James Altamirano, 40, died November 8, 2014 at Good Samaritan Center in Dodge City, Kansas. He was born on August 31, 1974 at Rockyford, CO the son of George Valdez and Rosalila Altamirano (Lopez).

He was a die hard Kansas City Chiefs fan and enjoyed listening to music and eating sweets. Jesse was a very outgoing and cheerful person and was a friend to everyone he met. He adored his nephews and nieces. Jesse also loved telling stories.

He is survived by his parents George Valdez and Rosalila Altamirano of Spearville; two sons Jesse James Altamirano and Ethan Altamirano both of Tucson, Arizona and one daughter Eboni Altamirano of Tucson, Arizona; two sisters Victoria Altamirano of Dodge City and Jennie Keller and husband Corey of Dodge City; three nieces Alexis Altamirano, Angelica Hileman and Ashley Keller as well as two nephews Corey and Christopher Keller.

Memorial service will be held at Swaim Funeral Home on Friday, November 14, 2014 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Terrance Klein presiding. There will be a Vigil Service at 7:00 PM Thursday, November 13, 2014 at Swaim Funeral Home . There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. Memorials are suggested to the Jesse James Altamirano Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home.
