The family moved to Hanston where she graduated from Hanston High School in 1935. She then attended Bethel College in Newton. Jettie married Glen Earl Sage on February 7, 1940 at Hanston. She was a lover of life and that included football especially the Demons, the Conqs, Dallas Cowboys and Kansas City Chiefs. If there was a football game, basketball game, concert or play within 200 miles, she was there. Jettie hit all the good garage sales early and often. She loved antique dolls and made beautiful delicate dresses for them. Jettie was always decorating tables at the church and decorating the house for every holiday. No one loved chocolate more than Jettie. We're sure there are some chocolates waiting for her in heaven.
