TOPEKA - Jimmy Gonzales, 46, died May 17, 2011 at Stormont-Vail Healthcare, Topeka. He was born on December 23, 1964 at Dodge City the son of Mike and Victoria M. (Gonzales) Soza.

Jimmy was currently working at Applemart in Topeka as a cashier.

He was a member of the Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe of Dodge City.

Jimmy is survived by a son, Taylor Julius of Topeka; two brothers, Todd Soza and Lance Soza both of Topeka; two sisters, Tina Flores and Tracy Hubbard both of Topeka; and 13 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral service will be held at Swaim Funeral Home on Friday, May 20, 2011 at 12:00 PM with Rev. Ted Skalsky presiding. Visitation will be at Swaim Funeral Home on Friday, May 20, 2011 from 9:00 AM to Noon. Memorials are suggested to the Jimmy Gonzales memorial fund in care of the funeral home.
