John Wayne Reynolds, 89, died Saturday, December 4, 2010 at Presbyterian Manor of the Plains in Dodge City. He was born on April 16, 1921 in Lamar, Colorado, the son of Artchie and Nora (Miller) Reynolds.

Mr. Reynolds served in the U.S. Army during W.W. II. He married Josephine "Josie" Pauline Boyce on January 24, 1942 at Dodge City. She preceded him in death on May 8, 2001.

John was a member of Cathedral Of Our Lady Of Guadalupe of Dodge City.

Survivors include one son, Tim Reynolds and wife Molly of Dodge City; one daughter, Tana Wynn and husband Jeff of Ventura, California; and two grandchildren. In addition to his wife he was preceded in death by five brothers.

Funeral mass will be held at Sacred Heart Cathedral in Dodge City on Wednesday, December 8, 2010 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Ted Skalsky presiding. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Dodge City. Visitation will be at Swaim Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 7, 2010 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Memorials can be made to Cathedral Of Our Lady Of
