Dodge City - Jose Isabel Martinez, 23, died October 12, 2018 in Dodge City.  He was born on June 1, 1995 at Torreon, Mexico the son of Claro Galindo and Cecilia (Encinias) Galindo.

He worked as a laborer for a roofing company. Jose loved watching football especially the Denver Broncos. He loved to exercise and lift weights and spend time with his animals. He also enjoyed watching Rooster fights.

He is survived by his parents Claro Galindo and Cecilia Galindo; sister Yesenia Martinez of Wichita; three brothers Isiah Encinias of Kingman; Jose Guadalupe Martinez and Armando Martinez both of Dodge City.

Funeral Mass will be held at Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe on Saturday October 20, 2018 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Aneesh Parappanattu presiding. Visitation will be at Swaim Funeral Chapel on Friday, October 19, 2018 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM.  Vigil Service will be held on Friday, October 19, 2018 at 7:00 PM at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe. Memorials are suggested to Jose Isabel Martinez Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home.
